Winter Sports

Winter sports are slowly winding down, and spring sports are slowly approaching. Although the teams may not have had the record they wished for all teams improved tremendously since the beginning of the season. The boys varsity basketball has a record of 1-17 with their only win to Liberty Benton. They will have a home game on Tuesday, February 12th so make sure to come out and support! The girls varsity basketball currently have a record of 9-12 under head coach, Greg Mauk. The girls have an upcoming away game, this Thursday at Shawnee. The swim team had a successful season with girls placing 5th and boys placing 10th at WBL championships. The girls bowling team had a record of 4-8 and the boys with a record of 2-11. On Friday the girls placed 8th at WBL championships and the boys places 10th. Finally, Wrestling has had a very good season with many improvements. They have a home meet on Thursday, February 14th and WBL championships on Saturday. Make sure you come out and support these teams before the season ends!
