Honorable Hanhold

This week’s staff member of the week is Band Director, Stephen Hanhold. His birthday is November 14th, and his parents are Vincent and Nina Hanhold. He is the youngest of his family with two older brothers. He attended Copley High School, graduating in 2008. While in high school, he participated in band, the marching band, the pep band, and baseball. After high school, he went to Bowling Green State University to receive his Bachelor of Musical Arts and graduated in 2014. After BGSU, he attended The University of Akron to get his Masters of Music Education and graduated in 2016. While attending both colleges, he was involved in many things, such as Ohio Collegiate Music Education Association, International Tuba & Euphonium Association, Kappa Kappa Psi, an Honorary Band Fraternity, Falcon Marching Band, and “Ohio’s Pride” The University of Akron Marching Band. His favorite thing about fall is spoopy things, enjoying the colder, crisp weather, wearing quarter-zip jackets, the marching band, and Friday night lights. If you see Mr. Hanhold in the halls or at the football games, make sure you tell him hi!
