El Dia De Los Muertos: Spanish Club

Spanish club will be decorating the school for the Day of the Dead.  It begins on October 31st and ends on November 2nd.  Also, over the course of the month, the club got to decorate doors with signs for an assigned Spanish-speaking country.  This was done for Spanish heritage month and these signs are going to be judged and have a winner.  Spanish club is always open to new members and if you want to help decorate the school or even just help make the decorations, then it’d be gladly appreciated.  If you join, you’ll have a chance to participate in club-only fiestas and you don’t have to be in an actual Spanish class or have any experience speaking the language.  Anyways, the Day of the Dead is a Mexican celebration to honor those who have passed and is sort of a way of accepting death.  The main thing that will probably be seen in the halls will be colorful sugar skulls.  So definitely think about coming into Spanish club every other Wednesday, you won’t regret it.
