Villanova Wins the NCAA Tournament

March Madness has come to an end in an epic ending that wasn’t exactly a surprise to many. Number One seeded Villanova and Number Three seeded Michigan faced off in the championship game on April 2nd. Some fans who work early mornings were mad because the game started at 9:20 P.M. This start time led to the lowest overnight ratings ever for the final game. Most people had Villanova winning the game as they had dominated in the tournament so far. The first half was a tight game but towards the end Villanova took an 11 point lead going into the half. Villanova kept their foot on the gas and never let Michigan cut down too far. They ended up winning the game with a final score of 79-62. Donte DiVincenzo ended up dropping 31 points for Villanova in his highest scoring game of the season. This run could mark a run of dominance for Villanova in the future.
