The Oscars will be held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood this Sunday, March 4th, at 8 P.M. This year, Jimmy Kimmel will grace us with his presence as the host for the second year in a row. He had mixed reviews last year for his hosting abilities but is looking to redeem himself this year. Everyone should remember the debacle in last year’s awards with having the wrong movie announced for the Best Picture. Jimmy is hoping that another debacle like that is not happening this year. The movie with the most nominations goes to Guillermo Del Toro’s film called “The Shape of Water”. This movie has a whopping 13 nominations while Christopher Nolan’s World War II movie “Dunkirk” is in second with 8. The other movies that could take the top awards however are “The Darkest Hour” – a biopic about Winston Churchill and “Get Out” – a very popular suspense horror movie. The night is bound to be star studded and fabulous like every year but they hope to stay away from huge mistake’s like last year. Whatever happens, the amazing ceremony of the year’s best cinema will dazzle all viewers.
