The Golden State Warriors faced the Boston Celtics last Saturday at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. The Celtics came out hot and were leading the game for almost the entire first quarter. The Warriors kept up with them for the most part although they never went on a too big of a run for the warriors to not come back from. Second quarter, the Celtics were still in the lead. The Warriors started pushing the score closer and closer but Kyrie Irving kept the Celtics in the game. The momentum started swinging towards the Warriors after the alley oop to Klay Thompson in transition. Steph Curry was shooting great from everywhere and started catching some heat in the second quarter leading to the third. In the fourth quarter, the warriors were the ones with the lead. Curry leading the closing of the game with a 3 pointer in the last minute & forty two seconds left on the clock. Warriors came out on top at the end of the game. Curry ended with 49 points and 8 threes, and Kyrie Irving finished with 37 points with 5 threes of his own. Final was 109-105 – Warriors.
