This season for the Oklahoma Sooners has been satisfactory so far. Trae Young will most likely be the National Player of the Year, but what really matters to the team is winning their games and they have been doing pretty well so far. After losing to Alabama on Saturday with a score of 80 – 73, their record goes to 15-5. Alabama was supposed to be a tournament team this season but has not yet lived up to the hype. In the Alabama vs Oklahoma game, Collin Sexton was able to lead the Crimson Tide to victory as he scored 18 points, 2 assists, and 3 rebounds. Trae Young, a favorite in the running for National Player of the Year, had a good game ending with 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 8 assists. This was a quality win for the Crimson Tide as their chances for tournament play are not done yet. This game definitely built momentum for the rest of the season. The Sooners will have to rebound after this tough loss.
