NFL Divisional Round

The NFL’s divisional round was quite eventful this past weekend. Some very iconic moments came out of the four games that were played. The first game of the weekend was between the Atlanta Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles. All eyes were on Nick Foles and the Eagles offense, who overall were still working as well as when they had Carson Wentz under center. The Philly defense stifled the Falcons offense and held them on a clutch fourth down conversion to win the game 15-10. The Patriots dismantled the Tennessee defense and over matched them in all aspects in their 35-14 beat down. The Steelers and Jaguars game was completely different then what everyone expected. The offensive shootout ended in a 45-42 upset win by the Jaguars. Their defense was just good enough to hold the powerful Steelers offense in check for the win. The most exciting game however was the game between the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings jumped to a 17-0 lead in the first half, but Drew Brees led an amazing comeback to have the Saints lead 24-23. There efforts were for nothing however because the Vikings drove right down the field, and Stefon Diggs scored a miraculous 61-yard touchdown after a missed tackle by a rookie Saints safety. This crazy ending has everyone hyped for the rest of the playoffs and they are wondering what could possibly come next.
