The well-known fast food chain McDonald’s, has been predicted to hit an all time high in sales in the new year. It is said that with the new digital ordering kiosks will replace cashiers in over 2,500 restaurants. Experts are hoping to roll out mobile ordering across 14,000 U.S. locations by the end of 2017.With more people being put on to technology, they feel that this is the best thing that could’ve happened in the fast food world. McDonald’s and others in the IT business are calling the kiosk the “Experience of the Future”, hoping to soon start table delivery in restaurants. The “EOTF” “is an in-store technological overhaul most conspicuous through kiosk ordering and table delivery” says Andrew Charles. It has been said that McDonald’s is the best place to try out this new idea, because of its popularity and cheap food prices. They have done a great job with launching popular items and attracting today’s youth with their value menu. If you are ever around McDonald’s be sure to go in and check it out!
