Golden State Moves On

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Trail Blazers on Monday Night with a score of 128-103. With the win the Warriors win the series 4-0 and move on to the second round. Golden State set a season high for points in the first quarter as they outscored the Trail Blazers 45-22. In the second quarter the Warriors only outscored the Trail Blazers by 1 and took a 24-point lead into halftime. The Trail Blazers definitely improved their game in the second half, but Golden State already had the game in their hands. The Trail Blazers were led by Damian Lillard, who had 34 points and 6 assists. Off the bench the Blazers were helped by Al-Farouq Amniu, who had 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals. The Warriors were led by All-Star Stephen Curry, who had 37 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists. Draymond Green also helped the Warriors to a sweep with 21 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks. The Warriors will now wait to see if they will play the Jazz or the Clippers.
