The Hollander in downtown Lima is now open and ready for business! They are known for their wood-fired pizzas and hand-dipped ice cream. The Hollander is located at 134 North Main St. It is open from 6-2 Sunday through Wednesday, 6-8 on Thursday, and 6-9 on Fridays and Saturdays. The owner of the restaurant is Dr. Jeffery Blanford, who is a dentist at Blanford Dental Center. The manager of the restaurant is Makenzie Salyers. They are looking to hire people if anyone is interested. The building was built in the mid-1800’s. The inside of the restaurant is split in between the ice cream parlor, kitchen, dining hall, and wood-fire pizza oven. When it gets warmer they will open the back patio of the restaurant for customers. The restaurant seats about 75-80 people inside and out. The pizzas are their signature items, but they also serve icecream and a lot of healthy wraps and salads. Dr. Blanford plans to open two more buildings for the Hollander to put in a fine-dining restaurant and a banquet hall. Be sure to go to the Hollander and get some food!
