North Carolina responded with a 9-0 run to take the lead again. Kentucky star Monk hit a game-tying 3 before Maye hit a jumper for the win. North Carolina was led by junior Justin Jackson, who had 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Kentucky was led by Freshman De’Aaron Fox, who had 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. With the win the Tar Heels will now take on Oregon in the Final Four on Saturday.
