This year the juniors get an opportunity to take the ACT for free at Bath High School. Normally to take the ACT, students have to pay $35 and wake up early on a Saturday morning to take the test. This year the school is giving the test to juniors for free during the school day. This means that the freshman, sophomores, and seniors will have the day off and don’t have to come to school. However, the test is mandatory for all juniors to meet the requirements for graduation. This test will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 8:15 a.m. Students taking the test have the option to send their test scores to four colleges for free. Juniors need to enter through the front doors of the high school by 8:15 a.m. and will be assigned a testing room. The test should end at around noon and students will be excused from school for the remained of the day. Students need to come prepared to perform well on the test because a high score will open a lot of doors for college.
