Rebuilding for the Indians 2017 Season

After a heartbreaking and exhausting end to their 2016 postseason, the Cleveland Indians have earned their time off. Corey Kluber, who had an outstanding regular season pitching with the Indians, also threw an impressive 34 1/3 postseason innings and made three starts on short rest. Andrew Miller and Cody Allen were also incredibly important contributing members during the regular season. Miller had an impressive postseason as a result of how willing he was to pitch at anytime during any game. He ended up pitching 93 1/3 regular season and postseason innings between the Yankees and Indians. Meanwhile Carlos Carrasco, due to missing all of the season during October, Danny Salazar, being limited during the World Series, and Trevor Bauer, being injured by a drone, were never able to show their talents during the World Series. All of them are looking to be back in full action come the start of the season. Three months later and the Indians have gathered in Arizona and are getting ready to start again on a stronger note for their 2017 season.
