The Chicago Bulls beat the Boston Celtics on Thursday Night after a questionable call went Chicago’s way. The Bulls’ Jimmy Butler missed a game-winner, but the refs called a foul on Marcus Smart and Butler hit both free throws to steal a 104-103 win. After the game Isaiah Thomas said the refs stole the game from them. With the loss the Celtics fall to 37-20 on the year and with the win the Bulls improve to 28-29. Boston was led by all-star point guard Isaiah Thomas, who had 29 points, 3 rebounds, and 7 assists. They also got 17 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists off the bench from big man Kelly Olynyk. Chicago got 29 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists from small forward Jimmy Butler. Off the bench the Bulls got 19 points and 8 rebounds from Bobby Portis. Since the all-star break is here, the Bulls will not play until February 24th. The Bulls will take on the Suns and the Celtics will take on the Raptors that same night.
