The Bath Varsity Basketball Team has not had the season they planned on having at the beginning of the year. With their loss to the Shawnee Indians on Friday with a score of 53-49, the Wildcats dropped to 3-15 on the year and 0-6 in the Western Buckeye League. The 2017 statewide tournament bracket recently came out and the Wildcats will take on the Defiance Bulldogs on Tuesday, February 28th at Lima Senior at 8 p.m. If the boys can get a win that night, they would move on to play the Wapakoneta Redskins. The team’s next challenge will be to take on the Kenton Wildcats to try to get Bath’s first Western Buckeye League win this season. On Saturday they will take on Delphos St. John’s at home. The theme for Friday night’s game is gender swap and Saturday is hippie. Make sure if you have the chance to come out and support the boys on either night, you dress up!
