This past weekend, the Atlanta Falcons crushed the Green Bay Packers with a score of 44-21. This game was extremely important, as it was the semifinal for the Superbowl. The Falcons quarterback, Matt Ryan, played an instrumental part in securing the win, throwing a total of four touchdown passes. In their next game, the Falcons will play against the winner of the championship game between the Steelers and the Patriots. The Falcons scored with four out of five of their possessions, with three of their touchdowns occurring the the first half. In the first quarter of the game, wide receiver Mohamed Sanu scored a touchdown from a two-yard pass from Matt Ryan. In the second quarter, Matt Ryan threw a five-yard touchdown pass to another wide receiver, Julio Jones. In the third quarter, Matt Ryan threw yet another three-yard touchdown pass to running back, Devonta Freeman. Julio Jones had an amazing catch, giving the Falcons a first down. Julio Jones quickly followed this play with a 76-yard run for another touchdown for the Falcons. In the fourth quarter, the Falcons running back, Tevin Coleman, scored a touchdown from three yards out.
