NHS Induction Ceremony

Every year, the new inductees of the National Honor Society are surprised by tapping. The current senior members go to each classroom and select the new members of NHS, which have been previously chosen by a committee for their excellence in academics. Tapping was on Friday, October 14th.  Both the current members of NHS and the inductees went out to eat at Casa Lu Al for lunch.  While at lunch, the inductors asked the inductee questions about themselves and later introduced them to the whole group.  After lunch, the students were excused from their remaining classes. After being tapped, the inductees are encouraged to attend the Induction Ceremony. This year, the ceremony is on October 19th in the high school cafeteria.  Each inductee is given a pin and a membership card and are officially welcomed as full members of the National Honor Society  After the ceremony is completed, all the members and their parents enjoy desserts in the cafeteria.  Congratulations to all the 2016 inductees on their huge accomplishment!
