The yearly release of the newest iPhone is usually surrounded by rumors. However, this year the speculation may actually be true. Since 2017 is the 10 year anniversary of the first iPhone, Apple probably has some big things planned. Rumor has it that the new iPhone will have glass on both sides and metal around the edges of the phone. The new model may also have a curved screen and a curved glass casing. There are also supposed to be new features such as wireless charging. The “all-glass enclosure” will likely be something durable such as gorilla glass or liquid metal. These durable glass materials would mean that a dropped phone wouldn’t necessarily result in a cracked screen. This would hopefully help Apple to finally make an indestructible iPhone. The release date is rumored to be sometime in September of 2016, when Apple will release at least two, if not three, new iPhones.
